People who decide to run with a fitted bedroom know they have made a wise decision. A fitted bedroom does not only offer the very ultimate in latest styles and designs, it also provides the perfect utility when you think in terms of clearance and space.
It is no surprise, therefore, that many people are opting for this type of bedrooms as there are so many different designs and styles on the market today. Regardless of whether you have a single room or a double one, fitted bedroom furniture is ideal for any situation.
There are many benefits to be had by going with this type of bedroom set-up. And not least the fact that everything is kept in order. You wouldn’t have to worry, for example, where to place the wardrobe or how to position the bed. The layout of the room is planned out ahead of time, and once the furniture is fitted it will remain in place for good, easing you of the burden for good. Another benefit is the fact that fitted bedroom furniture allows you to keep the bedroom nice and neat as you know where everything is and where everything goes. But probably the best benefit you can glean from having the bedroom fitted in such a way is the space efficiency it ultimately affords the room. Probably the main feature of any fitted bedroom though is the wardrobe.
Depending on individual requirements and to a lesser extent, tastes, there are three types of fitted wardrobe you could opt for. These are the frame constructed built-in wardrobes, carcase built-in wardrobes, and sliding door built-in wardrobes. Obviously each design has its own benefits and advantages when it comes to utility, but the carcase design is probably the simplest of all the designs to actually incorporate into the overall fitted bedroom furniture design. They also usually look simpler in design than the other two wardrobe designs, and are also easier to dismantle should the case ever arise to do so.
Another over-riding factor in determining which wardrobe design to use is the type of room you have. And by type of room we mean shape and configuration wise. Built-in wardrobes do not normally work when there is a sloped ceiling, and when it comes to carcase designs, for example, they are not good when certain obstructions are in the way, such as chimney breasts, etc.
For sheer versatility, frame constructed wardrobes are probably the best. They can offer maximum storage space while they are not hindered by things like sloping ceilings or obstructions. You can choose how deep you want your wardrobe to be when it is frame constructed, but these designs to not incorporate backing panels meaning the wall has to be prepared before installation. These designs are quite difficult to install and may give some additional problems when it comes to bed layout.
Finally, the sliding door type of wardrobe offers the best in space utility and the maximum usage ease. They are handy for smaller, more cramped bedrooms and are also easy to install and manage. The one thing many individuals love about this particular design is the fact that you can have the sliding doors fitted out with large mirrors, effectively giving the room a larger and lighter look to it. They are usually cheaper than the other options as well.
